Lee and Marcy have been competing together professionally in country dance for the past 20 years. They have won numerous titles over the years, including the Diamond 1 Advance World Championship in 2007, but their crowned accomplishment happened in 2008. They were undefeated in their division and won the Couples Crown  World Championship title, January of 2009. They have gone on to defend that title with 3 more World Championship titles. That's 4 World Championship Titles in 4 years. They have also won numerous UCWDC World Titles with their students.

Outside of dancing, they both enjoy going out to dinner and movies, spending time with family and friends, tailgating and attending all University of Oklahoma football games. Lee and Marcy also enjoy Cruising and spending time in Mexico for vacation.

Lee and Marcy purchased their very first Lake home on beautiful Grand Lake here in Oklahoma a few years ago. They love to spend every free weekend out there with friends and family and really enjoy hosting the annual Harpe’s Studio Lake Weekend every summer.

Her passion for dance came full circle when she decided to pursue being a ballroom dance instructor in 2013 through a 4-month intensive training program through Ballroom Dance Teacher College (BDTC) in San Francisco. After completing the program with high honors, she returned to Oklahoma to begin her instructing career. She has been teaching at Harpe’s Dance Studio for several years. She primarily teaches beginner level students who are pursuing dance for a variety of reasons: weddings, a significant other, exercise, or competitive reasons. Due to her passion for youth, she established a group class for youth between the ages of 8-18. This group class has three main elements: character development, dance, and team building/social games. Her passion is to share her love of partner dancing with those she meets but specifically youth. There are so many life lessons that we can learn through partner dancing and she hopes to be able to share those with the youth she instructs. She also currently teaches ballroom dance as a middle school dance teacher in the Oklahoma City Public School System.
